About the Program:

This is not a structured social program or therapy, and parent or guardian supervision is required at all times.

Key Details:

Cost: Free

Schedule: First Saturday of every month, 3:00–5:00 PM, 11 months of the year.

Location: Space generously provided by the Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN)

Funding: Supported by the AutismBC Social Club Program & CKNW Kids Fund

If the volunteer organizer is unavailable, any cancellations will be communicated to registered participants in advance.

What to Expect:
At Pokémon Club, participants can enjoy a variety of activities such as crafts, games, and casual social time. A Pokémon show will often be playing on the TV, and there will be a Pokémon Card Trading Post (rules will be posted).

Whether you come in costume, bring your stuffies, trade cards, or simply hang out, participation is always at your own pace and comfort level. The goal is to create a low-pressure, welcoming environment where participants can socialize and make connections.

Card Trading Guidelines:
Card trading is only allowed with parental or guardian permission.

Please decide in advance if your child will participate in trading and discuss any rules or limits with them.

We encourage fair and respectful trades, recognizing that some participants are still learning these skills.

Important Notes:

Nut-Free Zone:
The room is strictly nut-free. Please do not bring snacks containing nuts, and ensure hands are washed if you have handled nuts before attending.

Waitlist:
This program is currently waitlisted. If you are interested in participating, please join the waitlist, and we will contact you if space becomes available.
