Description

Want to test out an App prior to purchasing? Have a question around security/parental settings? Trying to fix a problem, but need a quieter environment? Thinking of purchasing an iPad for your child?

Following a great ‘Learn with Apple’ in May, we have listened to ideas from those who attended and we are excited to host our next session on Sunday, October 15th.

From 10am – 11am the store will only be open to AutismBC members, so families and individuals who use Apple technology and/or apps, and would like to learn more can access the store in a quieter, more relaxed environment.

For this upcoming session, parents and their child will be teamed up and given the opportunity to work on a project together, learning more about how you can use popular apps for fun and learning. Apple specialists will lead the session and start by sharing an overview of the app/program, tricks and tips and troubleshooting help.

Session 1 (from 10am – 11am) will be working with apps developed for children aged K – Grade 7/8
Session 2 (from 10am – 11am) will be working with apps developed for youth/young adults, Grade 7/8+

We are pleased to offer this event free of charge and note that our session ages are only a guide.
