AutismBC Goes...to Barkerville!

Thursday, July 25th, 2019
8:30 am - 6:00 pm
Barkerville Historic Town & Park

AutismBC Goes provides free, safe and supportive community events where everyone is free to be themselves and enjoy activities with others who understand and share similar life experiences.

On Thursday, July 25, join us at Barkerville Historic Town for a FREE family-friendly adventure.

Overview: The park opens at 8:30am. You can arrive any time after it opens. At 2pm, we'll all meet up for a group tour at 2pm in front of the Pavillion building (Town Map). For the rest of the day, you'll have the option to break off into smaller groups or explore the park on your own. You can stay as long as you like. The park closes at 6:00pm.

Cost: AutismBC will cover the cost of park admission. Families will be responsible for their own meals and snacks. There are restaurants and a convenience store in the park, or you can bring your own food.

Transportation: Families will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the park. If you need a ride or you'd like to organize a carpool from Prince George or Quesnel, please contact Corey Walker, our regional coordinator for Northern BC, at (250) 961-7620 or cwalker@autismbc.ca. Public transportation is available to and from Quesnel on Thursdays.

Location: Barkerville is located 81 kilometres (50 miles) east of Quesnel, BC at the end of Highway 26. For directions, see: Getting Here
